Shipping, Trials & Return Policy
Shipping:
- FREE SHIPPING across Canada on all accessory orders over $150.
- Saddle shipping charges dependent on shipping destination.
- Accessory Orders within Canada under $150 are subject to a flat $15 shipping fee.
- Express shipping across Canada, is available at a flat rate of $45.
- Orders outside of Canada will be charge a $60 shipping fee*.
All orders are shipped via Canada Post with expedited shipping. Your tracking number will be forwarded to you once your item(s) are packaged up.
*Please note that EQ Custom is not responsible for any import charges or duties incurred by the customer for any shipments outside of Canada.
Saddle Trial Policy:
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:
*The placement of your order is viewed as your agreement to the EQ Custom Products Ltd. Trial and Return Policy, as detailed below:
We are pleased to offer a 7-day trial policy on all used or consignment saddles purchased through EQ Custom Products Ltd. All saddles must be paid for in full, prior to going on trial.
- Length of trial is 7 days.
- These days are calculated from the date of delivery plus 7 additional calendar days.
- Please inspect the saddle upon arrival for any damage. Any damage resulting from shipping must be reported immediately upon the saddles arrival with you.
- Extensions of the trial period are sometimes available as needed by request.
- A signature is required for delivery of a saddle. Please ensure you provide a shipping address where someone will be available to sign.
- *All international saddle sales are final sale, we apologize, but no trial period is available for saddles shipping outside of Canada.
If the saddle is not going to work out for you, you MUST communicate that the saddle is going to be returned. We must receive this communication prior to the end of your trial period. The saddle must then be in the mail within a timely manner, 24 hours maximum. If your trial ends on the weekend the saddle must be in the mail by the coming Monday. Please email tracking numbers as soon as you have them to megan@eqcustom.com
Return Address:
Return shipping costs are the buyers responsibility. We highly recommend return shipping with tracking and insurance.
- A $100 restocking fee will be deducted from the refund value of any returned saddle, this fee is in place to cover to cost of initially shipping the saddle to you, along with staff time processing your order.
- A $50 cleaning fee will be subtracted from your refund if the saddle is returned dirty
- If a saddle is returned damaged, fee's will be assessed on a case by case basis. *We highly suggest you return ship your saddle with insurance and tracking. Any damage to the saddle during your trial or return shipping will be the purchasers responsibility.
All used or consignment saddles are sold as-is and without any warranty on behalf of EQ Custom Products Ltd. The trial period serves as your opportunity to inspect and test ride the saddle. We encourage you to have a knowledgable individual look at the saddle and ensure the fit for you and your horse.
*No refunds will be offered as a result of any saddler or trainer inspections made after the trial period has ended. We are not responsible for any suitability or condition issues brought to our attention after the trial period ends. Used saddles are sold AS IS.
Failure to comply with trial policy will result in the immediate final sale of the saddle.
Returns:
All tack and accessories (excluding saddles, see above policy) will be accepted for a full refund & return within 7 days of purchase if it meets all of the below criteria:
- Is in the same condition it left the store in.
- Item(s) have not been washed, worn, or altered.
- Is accompanied by its original invoice.
- Is returned according to the time restrictions outlined above.
New merchandise returned after 7 days of purchase, is eligible for store credit, if it meets all of the below criteria:
- Is in the same condition it left the store in.
- Item(s) have not been washed, worn, or altered.
- Is accompanied by its original invoice.
- Is returned according to the time restrictions in the policies above.
No returns or store credits will be issued beyond 30 days from the date of purchase.
Helmets, custom orders, merchandise purchased with a discount and sale items are final sale!
